Get Involved

Here are some ways for you to get involved in promoting and preserving your local history. If you witness damage to a historical monument, or are concerned about potential damage, you can report it to the National Monuments Service on (01) 888 2000 or nationalmonuments@housing.gov.ie

PHOTOS OF MONUMENTS

Whether it is just the grassy banks of a ringfort, or the remains of castle walls, send in photos of the monuments in your townland to beyondtheborora@outlook.com. These photos will be used to record the monuments, and will be either featured on the website or shared on social media. You can also tag us on social media, too.
